Editing and writing for magazines included one on workers compensation and occupational health and safety. I have run State wide advertising campaigns and worked as a marketing manager and advertising copywriter in both advertising agencies and retail.

Event Management
As a senior public affairs officer in governnment departments in Australia I have managed many major national events in that country including the national small business awards. Working with the Australian foreign service in Brussels and Budapest, I organised a film festival in Budapest; the first Australian exhibition at the European Parliament and Council of Europe in Strasbourg and as cultural attache arranged many concerts and art exhibitions.

I have also been involved in organising international events in my communications and outreach work in The Hague with a non government organisation concerned with gender issues. The work has included a major event highlighting the need to eliminate gender barriers which prevent achieving the UN Millennium 2015 goal on universal primary education.
