Teaching & Workshops
I have taught media skills including how to find and develop an effective story for publication or use on radio and TV. I have written scripts on a variety of topics for radio programs including BBC World Service and videos for use in the South Pacific and Asia.
Following completion of my Masters in International Degree in Dec 2010 I was coordinator, and supervisor of a study program for political science undergraduate students. I also worked with Open University students at Macquarie University, Sydney, volunteered with a hospitality training school to teach disadvantaged young people in Hanoi, Vietnam and was a researcher/publications officer with Macquarie University Post Graduate Association. The tasks there included lengthy reports such as one on improving the administration processes for joint PhD study in Australia and overseas universities.
A switch in career took me as as an English language teacher to companies and high schools in Germany, Hungary, and Montenegro, where I helped establish a school, and international summer schools in England as well as in Sydney. I specialise in one on one intensive courses or small groups for adults.
